Cider apple

Malus domestica Borkh.

Known to have been planted in the orchard of H.P. Bulmer & Co. Ltd., in the 1920s. Thought to be a sport of Foxwhelp. The small fruits produce a medium bittersharp cider and a full-bodied juice.
