Malus domestica Borkh.
A sport of Gravenstein having red stripes. Originated in either Denmark or Sweden. It was received by the National Fruit Trials in 1960. Fruits have crisp, rather coarse-textured, juicy flesh with a pleasant mixture of sweetness and acidity with a distinctive flavour.
