Early McIntosh

Raised by Richard Wellington at the New York State Agricultural Experiment Station, Geneva, New York from seed sown in 1909. It was introduced in 1923. Fruits have crisp, white flesh which is often tinged pink beneath the skin, with a sweet, subacid flavour.
