Raised by J. Garland, Broadclyst, Devon. Introduced by George Pyne, Topsham. Recorded in 1905 in which year it received the Award of Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society. Fruits have soft, greenish white flesh with a rather acid and faint aromatic flavour.
