Raised in 1904 by Mrs Reeves at Otford, Kent and introduced by R. Neal & Sons, Wandsworth, London in 1923. It received an Award of Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society in 1923. Fruits have rather soft, juicy and acid flesh. It cooks well, breaking up almost completely.
